Russian School Death toll rises to 17 people.
According to the authorities, the security forces reached the spot after receiving information about the attack, but the gunman committed suicide on sensing their presence. Later, the casualty was rescued and the school was evacuated. The injured have been admitted to various local hospitals. It is feared that the death toll may increase as the condition of some of the gunshot victims is critical. Most of the injured are said to be students of the school.
Meanwhile, the police have identified the 34-year-old gunman as Artem Kazantsev. He was initially believed to be a member of a 'neo-Nazi' group, as he was wearing a T-shirt with 'Nazi' symbols at the time of the attack. However, the police did not give any details in this regard.

Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin strongly condemned the school attack, calling it an 'inhuman terrorist attack'. At the same time, he also expressed deep grief for the victims of the incident. The local administration has announced three days of mourning in Udmurtia due to this terrible gun attack.
