Harnaaz Kaur Sandhu is an Indian model and actress from Chandigarh, Punjab. Harnaaz Sandhu is the third Indian after Sushmita Sen (1994) and Lara Dutta (2000) to win the Miss Universe title.
Harnaaz Sandhu won the title by defeating the remaining 79 contestants in the 70th Miss Universe pageant to be held in Ilat, Israel, she won the Miss Universe title by defeating Nadia Ferreira of Paraguay. She was presented this title by the former Miss Universe Andrea Meza of Mexico.
