Pahadi is a term used to describe someone who is a native of the hills and mountains. This group of people form an integral part of Indian culture and they usually live in the Himalayan mountain regions. The diversity of these communities, who are called pahadi, are wired to the nature deeply, who have survived generations at high altitudes. To this day, many still walk barefoot in these regions, wear traditional attire and go about their daily lives with strong convictions.
