1.Diploma Course –
There are many engineering diploma courses available for students who have done ITI in engineering trade. The Engineering Diploma course gives a more in-depth understanding of the subject, in which practical as well as theoretical knowledge is given. Apart from this, you can also do short term courses. Special advanced courses are also available at Advanced Vocational Training Institute (AVTS). These courses help students to hone their skills, which are essential for the job profile or industry requirement.
2.All India Trade Test :
Another option for ITI students after completing ITI course is AITT or All India Trade Test. This exam is conducted by NCVT (National Council for Vocational Training). It is a skill test that certifies ITI students. After passing ITI, students are given National Trade Certificate (NTC) in the respective trade by NCVT. In many engineering trades, NTC is equivalent to Diploma.

After passing ITI, freshers can work in a factory or manufacturing unit as Apprentice Trainee for their first industry experience.
