Vehicle Registration Number Plate - FTA HSRP Solution
High Security Registration Plates are becoming the norm to ensure standardization across the country. These registration plates can be issued only by Government authorized agencies.

Vehicle registration number plate also known as ‘number plate’, is a metal plate attached to the front and back of the vehicle with a number embossed on it. It looks like a random set of numbers but every part of the plate has its own significance. Registration plates are becoming the norm to ensure standardization across the country. These registration plates can only be issued by authorized agencies. To ensure safety and control, these HSRPs act as deterrents for anti-social elements to use vehicles for criminal activity. Since these can not be removed without leaving behind evidence of tampering and because issuance is controlled, they have proven to be of great advantage. Every time a buyer purchases a new vehicle, the dealer issues a ‘to register’ sticker. It is a temporary number which is valid only for a period of one month. Within this period, the owner must visit the district’s RTO to officially register the vehicle and get a standard license plate. The motor vehicle inspector at the RTO office is responsible for the verification.
