Hampta Pass is somewhere at the height of around 4270 m in Pir Panjal range. This trek is full of surprises as you can get many and any twists during its turns. Its surreal experience of silver waterfalls, glossy grasslands, glittering glaciers, jagged mountains makes it perfect for you to plan your next trip there. It is an easy to moderate trek thus it makes it easy for beginners to start their trekking experience.

And ofcourse how can I forget ‘Chandratal’ which literally translates to ‘The Lake of Moon’. This lake is the point of attraction for Hampta Pass which is a crescent shaped lake and the most wonderful thing about this lake is that it changes color almost the whole day. Setting up camp on the banks of Chandratal is currently taboo by law to not upset its environmental framework. There currently can’t be a camping area anyplace in a span of 3 kilometers of the lake and surprisingly self setting up camp isn’t permitted. But you can explore the flora and fauna besides the lake. The lush green meadows and the waterfalls make your perfect place for camp. This will be one of the unforgettable experiences for the people going to visit this place.

The difficulty level of this trek is moderate to difficult where you start moderately in the beginning and then as you climb up to the steep slopes it becomes a little difficult so it is advised this trek to be performed only if you have a little bit of experience and under the guidance of a travel guide.

This trek is famous because it takes you to a journey that takes you close to the world’s third highest mountain! Goechala is an uncommon “high” elevation trail among the trips in Sikkim that takes you near the world’s third most noteworthy mountain. It is popular for its fantastic perspective on Mount Kanchenjunga and other high Himalayan pinnacles.

Nag Tibba stretches over a distance of about 16 km and takes about 2 days for the trekkers to reach the destination. The name literally means “Serpent’s peak”.

Despite the fact that the highest point of this journey is at an amazing tallness of 9915 ft, the trip is simple. Having a delicate slope through the thick and dense forests, wandering through woods, and infrequent undulating landscape; the Nag Tibba journey is ideally suited for somebody with practically no related knowledge.

Also that place is prone to strong winds especially at night during the summer season so one should be careful while trekking during those seasons. Picking the perfect time for such treks will help you get a better experience of that place.

“Chadar” alludes to the sheet of ice that forms over the Zanskar stream as it changes itself from a fast streaming waterway into a white cover of ice during winter. Chadar turns into a frozen exhibition of glass ice going from a pale blue hint to brilliant yellow that is seen during the couple of hours that daylight ventures straightforwardly into the chasm to the smooth whitish on a twilight evening – as said a trip venture like no other. Walking through the frozen Zanskar river is just like walking over a blanket of ice.

You can also find some wildlife like blue sheep, snow leopards. You Can also witness the blend of Indian and Tibetan culture because it is close to the border of China.
