It's going to let members create new characters and play in a environment where everyone begins on the same level. The game features a new economy OSRS Gold, Grand Exchange, Hi-Scores and even a boost to the XP level to speed up leveling. The event runs for approximately four months. When the event is over, players will be able to return to their core game, using their brand-new character.
Fresh Start Worlds brings together new and experienced players to start their RuneScape adventure afresh. The players can relive the land of Gielinor when they return to the most famous cities, memorable quests, skilling areas and boss fights. All of them come with an increase in XP as well as gameplay boosts. There's also plenty of rewards to collect, including brand new skins for pets, cosmetic armor, as well as alternative capes for skill. Keep an eye out as well for some rare tradeable rewards.

One main difference is that there will not be any XP boost, which means the players have to rely on their skills to make progress.
