5 killed, 20 injured in Russian attack in Kherson.
At least 5 people were killed in a Russian attack in the southern city of Kherson in Ukraine. In addition, at least 20 people were injured in the attack on Saturday (December 24). Reuters reported this news citing an associate of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Russia has not yet commented on this claim of Kyiv.

The Ukrainian army captured Kherson from Russian forces last month. This is seen as a huge victory for the Ukrainian army. However, fierce fighting is still going on between the two forces in the region. Last week, Russian forces fired at least 70 missiles at Kherson. As a result of the attack, large areas of Ukraine were left without electricity.
