"One of the primary goals of this program is to foster discussion with players with a range of play styles," Blizzard states. "To assist in this an important part of the process is sharing your interests and areas of experience with WoTLK Classic Gold. It doesn't matter if it's cutting-edge raiding making alts, finishing tasks, gaining accessibility or collecting transmog we'd like to hear about your thoughts and ensure that your voice is heard."
The players selected for the council can post in a special forum and respond directly to topics and discussions started on behalf of WoW development team and other community managers. Blizzard declares that "separate discussions with smaller teams of members and Blizzard developers will be encouraged to ensure that the views of players who have different viewpoints are heard."
Participants selected for members of the Council will be able to be a part of the council for one year. Applications will then be open once more.
The establishment of the community council comes at a time when the game's patch 9.1.5 will introduce a variety of fan-demanded changes and what cheap WoTLK Gold's gaming director claims is the beginning of a "fresh new perspective for the future" of the MMO. It also comes amidst the ongoing consequences of numerous lawsuits and inquiries related to the allegations of discrimination and harassment based on gender from Activision Blizzard.
