Syria cholera updates 2022
Cholera is spreading in Syria, 39 people died.
The war has been going on in Syria for more than a decade. About two-thirds of the country's water treatment plants and half of the pumping stations have been damaged.

Cholera kills 21,000 to 1,43,000 people every year. Cholera outbreaks have been reported in 26 countries in the first 9 months of this year.
On September 30, the World Health Organization issued a warning about cholera increasing at an alarming rate around the world.
