UK SOLE REPRESENTATIVE VISA PROGRAM DETAILS
Overseas company intending to establish a commercial presence for the company in the UK can send a senior employee of their company as a Sole Representative under this Visa category.
(If you are a senior employee of an overseas business and would like to come to the UK to set up and run a UK branch or wholly-owned subsidiary of that business, you may be able to make an application for a sole representative of an overseas business visa.)
This commercial presence may be a registered branch or a wholly owned subsidiary concerned with the same type of business activity as the parent company. The parent company must have no branch, subsidiary or other representative in the UK. This visa initially allows you stay in the UK with your family for up to 3 years and further 2 years of extension. After 5 years in the UK in the sole representative visa category, you may be granted permission to remain in the UK permanently.
