What Is Carbon Footprint And How Can We Reduce It?
A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions, both direct and indirect, that an individual or organization produces. It is typically measured in metric tons of carbon dioxide equivalent (CO2e).

A carbon footprint is the total amount of greenhouse gas emissions (such as carbon dioxide, methane, nitrous oxide, etc.) that are released into the atmosphere as a result of an individuals or organization's activities. It is usually measured in units of tons of CO2-equivalent (CO2e). Removing carbon footprint can be done by many different methods. Some of these include: driving less or using a more fuel-efficient car, using renewable sources of energy for power, reducing water consumption, using public transportation, buying locally grown food, recycling, and composting. Additionally, individuals can offset their carbon footprints by investing in carbon offsets, which are designed to reduce or eliminate the amount of carbon dioxide released into the atmosphere.
