One plus smartphones to now support Jio5g
Technology News: Here is the good news for all the One Plus users, 5G started to roll out on Diwali. One Plus has launched a new software upgrade for its OnePlus 10T users, to support the 5G service of Reliance Jio in India. However, the updates will be available for the model OnePlus 10 pro, OnePlus 10T, and OnePlus 10R. All the devices will receive updates in a few parts.
According to the OnePlus Community forum, the OnePlus 10 Pro, and OnePlus 10T will be updated with the Android security patch for October 2022. Only five Indian cities including, Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, and Varanasi are going to participate in Jio’s 5G service testing. The network is all set to expand in the upcoming months and that is why not all consumers in the eligible circles will be receiving the Jio 5G services.
The updates on phones will come as an OTA (over-the-air) patch, and all the OnePlus users will have to check and download the new version of the OS through a system update.
How to Update-
To install the latest update on your OnePlus 10T, first, go to settings in your phone and tab on About device, and check the update shows up on top of the screen of your mobile phone. Now, click on Download Button and download the updates.
Support for the Jio 5G network has been added in the most recent software update for the OnePlus devices. Furthermore, the updates even include an October security patch for Android.
