Step 2: TURN OFF THE POWER WHEN NEEDED

BEFORE you attach or detach any parts, turn it off and unplug it. Before washing it, turn off the power as well. Although not all blenders have detachable legs, you'll want to wash the blade and leg. Most machines do, but the Bamix doesn't (the little blades fall off instead). Start off right, then, and develop excellent habits. I follow the same procedure each time.

Take it off the stand, attach my blade or leg, plug it in, use it, disconnect it, rinse it, and then return it to the stand.

Step 3: Verify that you are using the appropriate attachment or accessory for the task at Handheld Emulsifier. Look at all the tasks it is capable of performing below. Check out our Braun Blender range explained if you already own a Braun Hand Emulsifier or are wanting to replace or improve. It explains how the attachments function as well as the model names and numbers that come with the accessories and attachments. Actually, the attachments section gives you an excellent summary of all the attachments you would likely receive with any Hand Emulsifier by itself.

Step 4. Knowing when to turn on the power.

If your blender cuts ice, it's frequently preferable to start the power after placing the blade on the ice. Check your instructions handbook to find out whether you should turn the power on before it enters the food or after. Make sure the batteries are charged in your cordless Hand Emulsifier if you have one.

Step 5. Use the appropriate blending container

Make sure there is enough space in the container so that the food doesn't spill out the top! A narrow container works far better for Handheld Emulsifier than a wide one. I prefer to use a small jar or small jug with a large opening at the top for small volumes. To try to generate the vortex action where the food makes a vortex as it passes around and then in under the blade, tilt the container and pull up the blender then down.

Step 6: AVOID USING THE BLENDER WHEN FOOD IS BOILING ON THE STOVE!

Unless the maker specifically permits it. For instance, if I insert a straightforward plastic one, it will melt. Therefore, read the manufacturer's manual before putting any metal blender legs into boiling food. How your Hand Emulsifier handles to splatter is crucial because it also pertains to safety. You may mix hot food in a pan with a Bamix as well as ice-cold liquid in a crystal glass!

7. MOVE IT AROUND A LITTLE!

To achieve the correct consistency, slide the object through the food while holding it at a small angle and off the bottom of the container. (Remember that you can move the container as well as the blender to smooth out all the lumps.) Check how long you should blend for before stopping; generally, the longer you may leave the blender running, the higher the power and speeds (rpm) are. Some tasks just take a few seconds, while others could take 20 to 30 seconds.

Step 8: Handle it gently; don't yell at it!

When you're finished, tap the shaft of your other Handheld Emulsifier against the container or jug while holding it over it to remove any remaining food. Never tap the shaft on the container since the blender could be damaged. Therefore, make it a point to tap lightly on your other fingers as a better habit. Bamix advises against doing that because, obviously, their shaft contains the electronics that drive the blade. It makes sense to be gentle with it!

Step 9: IMMEDIATELY WASH THE BLENDER END/THE BLADE PARTS
